Awooga

In 2013 I played rhythm guitar in the band Awooga. Located in Amsterdam, Anne Brit sang at the front, Alan Byrne pounded the drums, Simon Butterworth kept the groove on bass guitar while David Fox wailed on his lead guitar.

Our setlist included All Right Now by Free, Come Together by The Beatles, Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin, Take me Out by Franz Ferdinand and Stuck in the Middle with You by Stealer’s Wheel.

Highlights of the band included a gig at The Waterhole in Leidseplein, Amsterdam and playing a set at the Flevopark Festival (also in Amsterdam).
